In a recent address, Mrs. Delu Yakubu Bulus, Senior Special Assistant on Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, pledged that Nigeria, under Tinubu’s leadership, is on track to eradicate poverty. Speaking to joint associations of Persons living with Disabilities, Women, and Youth, Mrs. Yakubu outlined ambitious wealth creation programs planned by the current administration.
President Tinubu received applause from Adamawa Women, Youth, and People Living with Disabilities for appointing Mrs. Delu Bulus Yakubu as SSA. During her Northeast tour, Mrs. Delu engaged with these groups, emphasizing President Tinubu’s commitment to a renewed hope agenda. Ibrahim Idris, Secretary of the State Physically Challenged, commended Tinubu’s government for instilling hope in Nigerians and acknowledged the inclusion of key figures like Nuhu Ribadu and Professor Mamman Tahir.
Mrs. Delu, described as a seasoned politician, grassroots mobilizer, and philanthropist, assured Nigerians that her role under Tinubu’s administration serves all citizens, regardless of political affiliation. She highlighted the dedication of the Humanitarian Ministry, led by Dr. Edu Betta, to address unemployment and empower citizens across geopolitical zones.
