John Noble, the Enyimba and Super Eagles goalkeeper, has admitted being depressed because of a whooping $25,000 being owed him by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
While speaking to newsmen who sought to know whether the stories making the round about his depression was true, admitted the truth, saying that he was actually depressed.
He added that he felt bad after learning that the current U17 players in camp have all been paid their entitlements.
“I called and was told that the U17 players have been paid their entitlements and I wonder why they have refused to pay me.
“I am a family man with wife and the pressure is so much on me. I have a lot of responsibilities to take care of.
“You know in Nigerian League, you can play for up to four or five months without your pay, so it is a lot of pressure on me,” he said.
The Enyimba goalkeeper has not been paid his bonuses since the last AFCON in Cameroon
The Nigeria international admitted that he is struggling with depression over his $25,000 unpaid 2021 Africa Cup of Nations bonus, while appealing to the Nigeria Football Federation to do the needful.
