The Falconet were eliminated from 2022 U20 Women’s World Cup on Monday by their Netherlands opponent with 2 goals.
The team was said to be travelling from Costa Rica and on a 24-hour layover in Istanbul.
The ex-media Official, Collin Udoh Posting the photos to his social said, “Nigeria’s #Falconets have been travelling from Costa Rica since 6:30am on Monday.
“They’re now in Istanbul on a 24-hour layover and sleeping on the airport chairs and floor, or wherever they can find.”
