Tunji Balogun popularly known as Teebillz, music producer and ex husband to female super star, Tiwa Savage has lauded singer, D’banj for being ‘a bonafide Hustler’ and the reason why people like him believed in Afrobeats.
In a post he made on Instagram, Teebillz expressed his undeniable support for D’banj who has been in the custody of the anti-graft agency, Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission, ICPC.
He was detained for alleged involvement in diversion of N-Power funds.

He allegedly connived with some government officials, created ghost beneficiaries and paid the money into accounts which have been linked to him.
Reacting to the news, Teebillz said;
“Bonafide Hustler! He’s the reason we all believed in Afrobeats and he solidified internationally for the world to pay attention attention!!! The reason everybody is benefiting from it today.
“You deserve royalties from Afrobeats 4ever!!!! We all moved back home bcos of you and you gave hope to kids from the ghetto! You defined hardwork is greater than talent with your Mamba mentality.
“I celebrate you, just giving you your flowers while you are alive to feel the respect and love that we have for you KING BANGER.”
