President Tinubu has recently made significant appointments to his presidential media advisory team, each bringing unique expertise and qualifications to their respective roles.

Fela Durotoye has been appointed as the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on National Values & Social Justice. Born in Ibadan in 1971, Fela is renowned as a business consultant, leadership expert, and motivational speaker. He is also the president of the GEMSTONE Nation Builders Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to training youths in transformational leadership and social change. Notably, Fela was the presidential candidate of the Alliance for New Nigeria party in the 2019 elections.

Fredrick Nwabufo assumes the role of SSA on Public Engagement. He is a celebrated columnist, journalist, and communications specialist, with a diverse career spanning radio, TV, print, and online media. His thought-provoking essays have garnered widespread recognition.

Linda Nwabuwa Akhigbe has been appointed as the SSA on Strategic Communications. She is a versatile Correspondent, Presenter, and Producer at Channels Television, known for her proficiency in the field of communication.

Aliyu Audu has taken on the role of Special Assistant on Public Affairs. He previously served as the National Youth spokesman of the Tinubu Shettima Campaign Council and was a gubernatorial aspirant under the APC party. His contributions as a guest on national television and writer for national dailies highlight his commitment to public affairs.

Francis Adah Abah, now serving as the Personal Assistant on Special Duties, brings a diverse background. He has worked as a Dialogue Officer at the Neem Foundation and served as an Investment Analyst at The Infrastructure Bank Plc. His educational background includes pursuing a Master of Arts in International Relations at Liverpool John Moores University, where he is gaining expertise in international relations and the dynamics of war and peace cycles.

Moreover, Mrs. Linda Nwabuwa Akhigbe has been seconded to serve as the Communications Adviser to the President of the ECOWAS Commission, demonstrating President Tinubu’s commitment to regional cooperation and communication.

These appointments reflect President Tinubu’s dedication to assembling a team of accomplished individuals with diverse skill sets to enhance his administration’s media and communication efforts.
