Chelsea Football Club have unveiled their new signing Mykhaylo Mudryk after hijacking the deal from London neighbors, Arsenal in €100m deal with Shakhtar Donetsk until 2030.
A late show of interest by Chelsea Football Club in the Ukrainian winger ended the dream of the Gunners bringing the 20-year-old winger to the Emirates Stadium.
Chelsea who have been struggling with several injuries have been on winter spending spree as the management are reported to be signing players for the future of which Mykhaylo Mudryk is one of the young talents after Fofana.
Mudryk reacting on his transfer said he was ‘excited’ to be have signed for the West London side as Chelsea is a great club as he’s looking forward to working with his team-mates and the coach.
He said, “I’m so happy to sign for Chelsea. This is a huge club, Premier League is fantastic league and it’s a very attractive project for me at this stage of my career”.
“I’m excited to meet my team-mates and I’m looking forward to working under Graham Potter”.
