Chelsea striker, Timo Werner has arrived Germany to completes his return move to RB Leipzig on a permanent deal after having troubling seasons at the Stampford Bridge.

The German football professional striker who is known for his speed and fondly called “Turbo” signed for Chelsea in 2020 for a fee of £45m.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea and Leipzig have agreed a fee of €20m deal plus adds-on for the 26-year-old German turbo who wants to return to his old club and get regular game time to secure a starting spot in Hansi Flick’s Germany team at the World Cup in November.

Timo Werner is expected to sign a deal that will see him at the club until 2026 on Tuesday and undergo his medicals.

He said, “Timo Werner has landed in Leipzig in order to undergo medical tests and then sign contract as new RB Leipzig player – he’s together with his agents as Chelsea approved the deal.

Chelsea will receive €20m fixed fee plus add-ons.
