Daniel Regha, a now famous Twitter Keypad activist has knocked Afrobeats star, Davido, over his alleged plans to perform at the closing ceremony of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Recall that earlier today, Stephen Hung said that the bereaved singer will be performing at the ceremony in Qatar and the news has since made social media users joyous.
Reacting to the new development, Regha who is renowned for his deviant opinions about trending topics on social media, said on Twitter that it is not a smart decision for Davido to perform at the world cup ceremony, after he postponed his A.W.A.Y festival by one year, due to the loss of his three year old son, Ifeanyi.
Regha wrote: “Davido will be performing at the World Cup closing ceremony (reportedly), glad he is feeling better but I don’t think that is a smart decision since he already postponed his A.W.AY festival by one year; He should stand by his decision & decl!ne any offer till next year. No offense.”
