A Nigerian doctor based in the United Kingdom, Oluwafemi ‘Tijion’ Esho, has had his medical licenses revoked after being found guilty of offering free Botox injections in exchange for sex.
According to The Telegraph, Esho admitted to the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service that he had an inappropriate emotional relationship with a female patient referred to as Patient A. They exchanged “inappropriate” sexual messages on Instagram.
Esho, known for his expertise in cosmetic surgery, often appeared on popular TV shows such as ITV’s This Morning, BBC’s Morning Live, and E4’s Body Fixers. He also provided commentary on Body Fixers for E4 and made appearances on segments of BBC’s Morning Live until 2022.
Esho is the founder of the Esho Clinic, with locations in London, Liverpool, and Dubai, catering to celebrity clients.
During his appearance before the panel in Manchester, the 42-year-old surgeon denied having sexual intercourse with Patient A at his clinic in Newcastle in 2021 and administering free Botox. He claimed Patient A provided sex services via OnlyFans and webcams.
However, an MPTS panel in Manchester ruled that Dr. Esho did engage in sexual intercourse with Patient A at his clinic in Newcastle upon Tyne in 2021 and provided free Botox. The panel also found instances of inappropriate behavior during consultations, including making inappropriate comments and allowing Patient A to masturbate him.
The tribunal concluded that Dr. Esho’s misconduct impaired his fitness to practice.
