The United Kingdom has unveiled a compilation of vocations in which qualified Nigerians aspiring to relocate can submit applications for employment visas.
The compilation, sourced from the official website of the UK government, outlines a total of 38 professions that are presently eligible for consideration.
A statement on the website states: “Review the roster of occupations experiencing scarcity in each region of the UK. If your profession is featured on this list, you have the opportunity to receive remuneration equal to 80% of the customary wage for the occupation, which qualifies you for a Skilled Worker visa.
The annual remunerations designated for these roles are formulated based on a standard 37.5-hour work week. These figures are to be proportionally adjusted for alternate work schedules, in accordance with the weekly work hours stipulated by your employer.”
Several of the roles mentioned offer compensation as high as N15,000 per hour.
The encompassing companies span various domains including technology, commerce, education, media, advertising, and engineering.
