US Vice President JD Vance has stated that foreign students on visas will face deportation if their stay is deemed not beneficial for the United States.

Vance made this statement during an interview with Fox News.

According to Vance, the Trump administration’s efforts to remove illegal migrants will lead to an increase in deportation numbers.

President Trump has reportedly been impatient with the deportation process, promising an uptick in numbers.

Vance confirmed that foreign students who entered the country legally would also be affected, framing the policy as a security enhancement measure.

“And if the Secretary of State and the President decide this person shouldn’t be in America, and they have no legal right to stay here, it’s as simple as that.

“I think we’ll certainly see some people who get deported on student visas if we determine that it’s not in the best interest of the United States to have them in our country,” he said.

The vice president also expressed concerns about foreign students occupying spots in top universities, potentially at the expense of native American students.
