Veteran journalist, comrade Ikhide Erasmus has emerged as a House of Representatives candidate of the Labour Party to represent Owan Federal Constituency, in Edo state.
He emerge the winner of the rescheduled Labour Party primary election following the withdrawal of Barrister George Ohioma and Ohi Akharamen.
Speaking on the development, Mr Akharamen said that the nation needs dynamic and vibrant youths like himself and Ikhide to snatch the country from the jaws of present political vampires in our dear country Nigeria.
Christopher Eseizobor, a delegate in the election, said it’s the turn of the youths to take their country back from the older generation.
“We need educated, patriotic, exposed and broad-minded youths like Comrade Ikhide to represent our people in the coming dispensation in the National Assembly”, Esezobor said.
