The ongoing rift between controversial singer Portable and his colleague Davido has escalated.
Portable has launched another attack on Davido after the latter unfollowed him on Instagram yesterday.
Recall that the Zazu crooner publicly accused Davido of offering him misguided advice during a recent dinner in the United States.
According to Portable, Davido, who is signed with Sony Music, advised him against joining the same label and instead suggested he sign with Empire.
Portable interpreted the advice as an act of foul play, and felt Davido did not wished him well in his music career with his advise.
Claiming that he, like Davido, aspires to win a Grammy.
He expressed concern that joining Empire might not support his Grammy ambitions in the same way Sony Music could.
In response to Portable’s public criticism, OBO unfollowed him on Instagram.
Reacting to this, Portable stated that he does not need Davido’s support or followership to succeed as an artist or to win a Grammy.
In a video shared on his Instagram page, Portable said: “They tried to destroy me and quickly unfollowed me because I stopped being beneficial to them. Whether you help me or not, I will do my tour; whether you follow me or not, I will collect Grammy.”
