President candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has returned to Nigeria after weeks in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The former vice president had been in Dubai on holiday after announcing Ifeanyi Okowa, governor of Delta state ss his running mate ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Following his arrival on Wednesday, Atiku is billed to attend the PDP grand really in Osogbo for the party’s governorship candidate, Senator Ademola Adeleke in Saturday’s gubernatorial election.
Meanwhile, Stakeholders have raised concern over Atiku’s health condition.
Many are of the views that the former Vice president. may have stayed long abroad to manage an undisclosed health condition.
In a viral video of his return, Atiku was seen walking towards a waiting car almost being aided and was not able to wave back at a handful of supporters who were at the airport to welcome him.
According to them, it remains to be seen how the frail looking Atiku will manage the rigorous Campaign period scheduled to commence in September.
