The Governor Sim Fubara led Rivers State Government has announced plans to establish an investigative committee to scrutinize the operations of the previous Nyesom Wike administration over the past 8 years.
In a remark by Governor Fubara on Monday, the committee will be tasked with conducting a thorough review of the policies, programs, and projects implemented by the Wike administration, with a focus on identifying areas of inefficiency, mismanagement, and potential corruption.
The committee, which is expected to be inaugurated in the coming weeks, will be chaired by the new Attorney General of Rivers State.
Fubara said;
“As Jungle has matured, we will set up a panel of inquiry to investigate the affairs of governance.”
