Former Speaker, Umar Ghali Na’Abba, seen recently in viral video somewhere in London looking ill has assured concerned public that he is okay.
He made this response to Muhammad Sunusi II, the 14th Fulani emir of Kano, on Monday, when he visited ailing former Speaker of House of Representatives, Alhaji Ghali Umar Na’aba in London, United Kingdom.
Picture of the two Kano prominent personalities emerged on the internet Monday evening following the earlier video of Na’aba seen struggling to walk on the streets of London.
Sanusi, a visiting professor to Harvard University was clad in a white flowing gown (Babanriga) with a cap to match, while his host Na’aba was dressed in a brown Kaftan.
Na’aba, an influential former Speaker, House of Representatives between 1999 to 2003 was seen in video walking on London street with the aid of a walking stick in company of a girl believed to be his relative.
In a 30 minutes video seen by Truthlive.net, the former Speaker was seen foot dragging, his gaze fixed on camera as he walked along with the young girl.
In a telephone conversation with Na’aba, he confirmed he was on medical tourism in UK .
“I’m getting better now, and I give Glory to Allah Subhanahu Wataala for His Mercy”, Ghali Umar Na’aba said.
