Popular Nigerian comedian Ayo Makun also known as AY has hit back at afrobeat singer Oluseun Anikulakpo Kuti popularly known as Seun Kuti over a derrogatory comment about him.
Earlier in a video, Kuti expressed his joy over the huge loss Comedian Ayo Makun, popularly known as Ay, got from his family home that got burnt in Lagos.
Big Bird Kuti as he is fondly called, said the reason for his strange joy is because comedian AY referred to his daughter as a dog in one of his skit videos.
Reacting to Kuti’s video, AY also made a video in response to Kuti’s allegations .
He (AY) started by saying that a lot of Nigerians take comedians more seriously than they take the government. He mentioned that he is a comedian who does lots of stage dramas and skits in reference to trending issues in society today.
According to AY, in that particular skit video which aggrieved Seun Kuti, he called the dog Hilda because there was a trendy video of popular Lagos chef Hilda Bacci and social media influencer Enioluwa were eating dog meat. He further said there was another video of a lady who referred to herself as a “dog mum” rebuking the two celebrities for eating dog delicacy.
AY said, “If anyone should pick offense, it should be Hilda Baci not you Seun.”
Furthermore, he noted that Seun has no reason to get upset over that skit, for someone who derives joy in throwing shades on the likes of Burna Boy, Wizkid and so on.
“Na your papa teach us work! He was a funny commentator. Na the same thing,“ said AY.
AY also highlighted the part where the singer called him a wife beater and someone who has an offensive mouth odour.
“Seun abeg tell me, we don kiss?”
“Where me and you for kiss wey you take know say my mouth Dey smell?
“I have never met you in my life. Abi na through Bluetooth we kiss?” AY asked laughing.
