The popularity of the Labour Party LP presidential candidate, Peter Obi, does not seem to be diminishing with time as earlier speculated by some party men but is rather gaining more momentum as the elections draw closer.
Obi’s acceptance by Nigerians as their preferred candidate has been evident with the way congregants roar with joy, each time he is part of any congregation. Earlier it was at The Experience held at the Tafawa Balewa Stadium TBS in Lagos, where it took a while before decorum was restored, when he (Obi) was introduced as part of the congregation.
In a similar manner, the congregation of Shiloh, an annual program held by the Living Faith Church, also known as Winners Chapel, went agog as soon as the presence of the LP presidential candidate was made known to the congregants.
Peter Obi has in recent times visited churches holding their annual end of year services and he has been warmly received by the worshippers.
