Arise TV host, Rufai Oseni, has lambasted the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, over his video which is currently trending, where he was eiding in a spinning bike whilst claiming he is “healthy and ready to serve Nigeria.”
Oseni also blasted the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party PDP, Atiku Abubakar over his dancing video that was also posted on social media.
Oseni spoke that it is “bad optics” for Tinubu who ought to be on ground leading the lines, signing peace accords l, to be absent then days later sends a video to show that he is healthy.
He added that Nigerians have become scared of their antics of either dancing or riding spinning bikes. If they want to prove their fitness, they should release their health records to Nigerians.
Oseni while calling on his co host, Reuben Abati, recalled that same campaign trend occured with late President Umaru Musa Yar’adua, how he also had questionable health issues, people raised concern and it was covered up until he died while in power.
He reiterated that he is not moved by optics to prove health fitness. The candidates should show Nigerians their health records if they have to prove anything.
