A woman identified simply as Gift from Delta state has been arrested by men of the Edo state Police Command for allegedly stabbing a man identified as Eghosa, to death in Egor Local Government Area of the state.
In a video which has since gone viral, Gift claimed that the deceased came to fight her after he saw her with ‘another person.’
“As he see me with another person, he came to fight me for that person house.” she said.
The incident was said to have happened at Imafidon street, in Egor, Benin city.
She has since been taken away by police officers and the matter has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further investigation.
