The government of Rivers state under the able leadership of Governor Nyesom Wike, has released the timetable of projects commissioning/flag-off across the state which will be commencing on Monday 8th of August, 2022.
Governor Wike who is fondly called Mr. Project has given special attention to infrastructural development in Rivers state and has commissioned numerous projects across the state.
The commissioning has been scheduled to begin 11am daily from August 8th first with the Orochiri-Worokwu Flyover in Port Harcourt which will be hosting the governor of Lagos, Babjide Sanwo-Olu as the special guest.
Subsequently, on Tuesday 9th August, the commissioning of Ogunabali/Eastern bypass dualized road will be commissioned with the presence of former governor of Sokoto state, Sen. Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko as the special guest of honour.
Thirdly will be the Dualization of Azikiwe-Ilaobuchi road in Port Harcourt on Wednesday, 10th of August with the presence of former governor of Ondo state, Olusegun Mimiko as the invited guest
The commissioning of the 5000 capacity NYSC auditorium follows on Thursday, 11th August with the presence of Brig. Gen. M.K Fadeh (DG, NYSC) as the special dignitary for the commissioning.
The fifth day, Friday, 12th of August, hosts the commissioning of the House of Assembly Quarters which will grace the presence of the Speaker House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila as the invited dignitary for the commissioning.
The state will be a beehive of activities as “Mr. Projects” continues to deliver on his promises to the people of Rivers State, which has made him one of the best governors and the most achieved governor in Nigeria.
