A Nigerian man living abroad has come under fire from a Nigerian woman for asking her out despite being engaged to another woman.
The woman, known only as Kella, was shocked to learn that the man is engaged after seeing the man’s fiancée’s video on Twitter.
She claimed that during his visit to Nigeria in January 2023, the man pursued her tenaciously while insisting that he preferred an Igbo lady in Nigeria over a woman who lived abroad.
But after doing more research, she discovered that he had already proposed to his girlfriend in December of the previous year and that they had been engaged when he invited her out.
She wrote;
“Fiancée??? This IJGB guy was asking me out in January, wonderful Talking about he doesn’t want some girl over there, that he wants an Igbo, traditional woman in Nigeria @ 7 I just knew there was something sneaky, God abeg
7 months is a long time, I agree, people can fall in love and get married in less, lol l’m just shocked that’s all I wish them all the best oh
So according to her TikTok, he proposed to her last year, 6th December 2022 lool & © see ehn I have no words, I still wish them all the best, at least I no mumu follow the boy
Again all of you guys defending rubbish, it is highly unacceptable to do this, you can’t have proposed to your girl in December, then come to Nigeria and come and be forming lover boy, just because you’re trying to play a fast one, imagine I agreed, na so I for dey heartbroken.”
