A Nigerian lady proudly displayed the innovative technique she used to feed her four brothers, who detest cleaning their plates after meals.
The amusing moment the lady, only known as Chidinma, served their lunch of jollof rice and chicken on plantain leaves is captured on camera and circulated online.
The young men were surprised by the new development and questioned why she was treating them like “animals” when they saw it.
Chidinma explained to them that it as a result of developing the bad habit of not washing their plates after meals and occasionally shattering plates when doing the dishes.
After seeing the pattern, she made the decision to serve them on plantain leaves rather than on plates to spare everyone the strain of doing the dishes.
But she gave them instructions to wash the plantain leaves off after eating.
