A young Kenyan woman Rachael Wambui, announced on social media that she built a house for her mother in a space of two years.
She posted a picture of an unpainted building and said that, as promised, it has now been finished.
Rachael thanked herself for making her mother happy as she described how she was able to pull through.
Rachael revealed in December 2022 that she had to tell her partner she obtained a job and they wanted a 13,000 commission. She added that in order to acquire money for the construction project, she started working night shift.
She shared the picture of the house with the caption “I’d say it’s a wrap, all blessings count’s. I made my mama proud.”

I’ve been building a house for my mum for the past 2yrs, yes! You heard right 2 damn years ,I’m already exhausted though worth the hustle. It happened that my mum was forced to vacate from our previous residence and she got a quick????

All this happened last month, I sat down and thought of all my bills and how I can escape them and save that cash. For example my house rent that is 13 thousand, also I lied to my favourite person that I’ve gotten a job and they’re requesting for a commission of 16thousand

I come up with a plan to shift to my friends house nikamshow anihost for one month, atleast save some pesa for the rent, plus Ile 16k ya commission plus my part time salary. I managed to make a clean 75k, and used it for roofing. I know it’s not enough.”
