The National Vice Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), South-South, Chief Dan Orbih on Friday met with the PDP leaders and party stakeholders in Edo North Senatorial District of Edo state and commended them for their steadfastness and loyalty to the party.
The indefatigable PDP Chieftain had hosted the Edo North PDP leaders in his country home at Ogbona – Etsako central Local Government Area of the State where he appreciated the efforts of the PDP faithful on behalf of the PDP Party as the holding pillars of the party.
Truth Live News reports that the turnout at the meeting showed that Chief Orbih continues to command respect, loyalty, and well accepted by all, as the chairmen from the 44 wards as well as their secretaries, youth leaders, women leaders, and local government leaders converged at the meeting.
He said, “Let me on behalf of the party congratulate all of you who have remained steadfast, loyal, and committed to our great party.”
Chief Dan Orbih had charged the people that he’s fully back to Edo to work for the victory of the party noting that the candidates of the PDP have brighter chances of winning the election.
He said, “The meeting is a wake-up call for people to support PDP candidates for the 2023 elections. And, you can see from the attendance and all that has been said today that Edo North is set and ready to go.”
Some of the party’s candidates in an interview with BeeTVÂ after the meeting commended Chief Dan Orbih’s leadership style, describing him as a worthy leader also noting that the meeting has now renewed their vigor to continue to mobilize the electorates to elect them at the polls.
The candidates have all collectively commended and appreciated Chief Orbih for organizing the meeting that has further strengthened the party and created a bond between the local government and wards party members which is very strategic to ensure PDP wins come 2023.
Deacon Patrick Onaikuwa who’s the PDP candidate in, Owan Federal constituency said, “Today (Friday), is a great day because we have come to have a meeting with our leaders, from the local government to the wards. These are the people that will galvanize the strength that we need to campaign and win the election that’s coming up in 2023”.
Barrister Frank Unuigbogie who is a PDP EDHA candidate said, “We are leaving here as a team, as a body, back to our various places to go and commence these campaigns, because, we are very sure, this legacy PDP–the authentic PDP, we believe in fairness, we believe in equity, we believe in justice and we believe in the law”.
Christabella Eremaeku who is the PDP Candidate Akoko-Edo Constituency said, “So far so good, it has been awesome and we are sure that victory is ours at the end of the day”.
Engr. Moses Omo-Ikiroda who is the PDP Candidate for Etsako Federal Constituency said, “We’re supposed to work together as a team to deliver our candidates and It’s quite instructive that we have deliberated very well and well informed”.
Chief Dan Orbih announced that he will be holding his annual end-of-year get-together for all the PDP faithful across the 192 wards in the state by Tuesday 27th, December 2022.
