He continued, “you are our royal fathers but your stipends cannot take you home. You’re the one dealing with all the challenges in your domain.
Encouraging the Chiefs to be courageous and speak the truth. Prof Onor, posited that If a chief is not courageous and is incapable of speaking the truth , telling himself and others the truth, he does not worth the throne upon which he is sitting.
He said Politicians would come and go but Chiefs remain. The seat is for live, so long you conduct yourself well before your people. When I come to see Chiefs what I expect is truth from them.
According to him, “If the government likes it can even withdraw the certificate, since your people have not withdrawn from you; you are still the Chief.
The senator representing Cross River Central Senatorial District, South south region assured supporters that they have come with a new order of responsibility of truth, vision, hardwork, and respect.
Expressing gratitude that thank God Governor Ben Ayade has left PDP said that never a in this state that we have a government that is so full of lies and deceit, other than when Senator Ben Ayade came and internalized lies, ‘thank God he left for APC.’
He said he was the one who caused the IMT Ugep to be acredited because the institution was almost dying and anything Ayade does not start should be there. Meanwhile, the ones he starts cannot be completed.
In contrary he said, “i would not blame Governor Ayade because he had no political experience. He does not understand the culture of our politics in our state.”
And so, “when the APC come to see you I pray you would be bold enough to ask them to show you their projects in Yakurr LGA .”All Ayade’s projects are badly conceived and poorly implemented.
‘From the legislative point, we have projects in Yakurr . I went to the Senate as a new senator but I knew i have things to do in Yakurr. He stated.
Prof Onor, Explained that the desks somebody went and wiped out his name from them and wrote his name at Secondary schools, Mkpani community were actually supplied by him, as a constituency project.
Which is why I say, “when we take over government the first thing we will do is to come around and see you and listen to you trying to do some talks about your problems and challenges.
“The one we can do Within the contexts of our resources we will say papa we can do this one and this other one, but this one we are not sure whether we are going to be able to do it now because other communities are also there.
Information made available to Truth Live News weekend in Calabar, quoted Onor, saying “They need our attention. The purpose of Government is to respond to the challenges of your people.
