PDP Presidential Candidate and Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has addressed the conflict in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of the 2023 elections.
The People’s Democratic Party has been seemingly fractured after the outcome of the May presidential convention that produced Atiku as the party’s presidential candidate.
At the 97th National Executive Council (NEC) meeting on Thursday, the ex-VP expressed commitment to ensuring resolution of the internal crisis.
Wazirin Adamwa noted that “family disagreements” are normal even in normal families and political families.
“What I can assure you is that we are determined to resolve those issues internally.
“There are not really fundamental disagreements, it is normal,” Atiku said
Atiku appealed to members to see that issues were resolved internally within the provisions of the party’s constitution.
