The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has temporarily suspended train services in the country Ahead Saturday’s Presidential and National Assembly elections.
The suspension of train services according to the Corporation will be from February 25 to February 27, 2023.
This is contained in a statement NRC issued to newsmen on Wednesday and signed by the Corporation’s Deputy Director of Public Relations, Yakub Mahmood.
According to the statement, the list of routes suspended include the Abuja–Kaduna, Warri–Itakpe, Lagos–Ibadan, and the Iddo Lagos-Ijoko train services.
The however assured Nigerians of the normal train services recommencement on Tuesday 28th February, 2023.
