An Iroko has fallen in Ewu, Edo State, with the death of Deaconess Angel Oyakhilome, the mother of Christ Embassy founder Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, at the age of an undisclosed age.
Deaconess Oyakhilome, fondly known as “Big Mummy,” reportedly died on September 25, 2026, leaving the Oyakhilome family, Ewu Kingdom and the wider Esan community in mourning.
