The Edo State governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo has fired the Managing Director (MD)/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of New Edo Line Transport Services Ltd, Ms Tinyan Otuomagie.
This is contained in a Government Special Announcement with Reference No. MOT/8/7 dated 15th January, 2026 and signed by Uwuifekhoe Saturday Idehen, Hon. Commissioner, Ministry of Transportation.
The statement stated that the General Manager, Maintenance, Mr. Smart Aigbodion, has been appointed as Acting Managing Director/CEO pending the appointment of a substantive Managing Director/CEO of New Edo Line Transport Services Ltd.
The statement added that Governor Okpebholo has directed that Ms Tinyan Otuomagie be deployed to the Ministry of Information for other assignments as may be determined by the State Government.
