A poll on Twitter, a Micro blogging app, conducted by Adamu Garba, an All Progressives Congress, APC, chieftain, now has about 82 percent respondent chose to die rather than vote Bola Ahmed Tinubu, presidential candidate of his own party in the forth coming presidential election next year.
While the poll may not be significant compared to other more credible pollings by reputable organisations like Bloomberg, ANAP, NOI and Nextier, which all gave the lead to Labour Party, LP, candidate, but the options offered by Garba for his poll makes it interesting.
According to the tweet, Garba, on his Twitter handle asked, “if you are voting for Tinubu/Shetima say Ayee or I will rather die.”
Responses as at 7.26 am, on Wednesday, has 82 percent chose ‘I will rather die’ while 18 percent voted for the ticket.
APC controversially chose a same faith ticket that has sparked controversies a Ross the length and breadth of the multireligious country.
