The stadium had a capacity of 40,000 seats and was specifically built for the World Cup with its name ‘stadium 974’ symbolic of the 974 containers used to make it and the international dialing code of Qatar.
The last match Played in the stadium was between Brazil and South Korea after which the crew got to work on dismantling the temporary Stadium 974.
