The Kano State Government has assured residents that the ongoing emirate tussle will be resolved amicably in the near future.
Speaking to journalists in Kano on Thursday, the Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Ibrahim Waiya, stated that concrete steps are already underway to restore lasting peace and stability in the state.
Mr Waiya emphasized the government’s commitment to dialogue with all stakeholders, noting that the administration is determined to prevent the issue from continuing to create tension or disrupt governance.
He added that the approach is rooted in respect for the rule of law, traditional institutions, and the collective interests of Kano’s people.
