Actor Bolanle Ninalowo Joins Pro-Tinubu Group

Nigerian film star Bolanle Ninalowo has been appointed as the Atlanta, United States coordinator of a pro-President Bola Tinubu support group, expanding the growing involvement of celebrities in political advocacy ahead of the 2027 elections.

Mr Ninalowo confirmed the appointment in a post on Instagram, where he shared a campaign flyer bearing the logo of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the advocacy group, Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN). He described the role as an honour.

“Honoured to serve as coordinator Atlanta/USA for President Bola Tinubu,” the actor wrote.

According to information shared by the group, RTIFN was founded by Seyi Tinubu, the president’s son, with Ahmed Bala serving as its national coordinator.

In a statement on its official social media page, RTIFN described itself as a platform designed to encourage youth participation, creativity and leadership, while providing what it called accurate and consistent information on the Tinubu administration.

“This movement stands on the energy, innovation and resilience of Nigerian youths,” the group said, adding that it seeks to act as a bridge between government and citizens, including those in the diaspora.

Mr Ninalowo’s appointment comes amid a series of similar high-profile engagements. Last week, businessman Obi Cubana accepted the position of South-East coordinator of the City Boy Movement, a youth-focused platform aligned with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

The appointment was formally presented by Seyi Tinubu at a strategic forum.
Political analysts say the increasing involvement of prominent public figures could influence youth mobilisation and diaspora engagement as Nigeria moves closer to the next election cycle.
