“I Was Just Six”: Oluwadolarz Breaks Silence on Childhood Sexual Abuse

Nigerian skit maker Olamide Babatunde Ogunleye, popularly known as Oluwadolarz revealed that he was sexually abused by a female neighbour who he identified as Aunty Ramota for a year when he was just six years old.

In a now-viral video, the content creator recounted living with his grandmother while his mother attended nursing school. He described how the abuse occurred regularly whenever he returned from school, leaving him too young to understand or report it.

“From a very young age, whenever I come back from school, Ramota is always at home. She would take me to the backyard of our house and do all sort, from licking to… its is crazy. I didn’t understand what was happening. It became a weekly occurrence that lasted for an entire year until the neighbour and her family moved”.

“When I started growing, I realised that what happened to me then was not normal.” he said.

Oluwadolarz shared his story to warn parents and guardians, urging them to have open conversations with their children about abuse and to stay vigilant.

“This video is meant to raise awareness. Parents, watch your kids. These things happen more than we realise, especially to boys,” he added.

His revelation adds to the broader conversation on social media about childhood sexual abuse and the need for greater protection for vulnerable children.
