NIPR Honour: Otu Bags Patron, Pledges People-Centred Governance

CROSS RIVER, CALABAR – The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations has invested Cross River State Governor, Senator Bassey Edet Otu, as a Patron of the institute.


The investiture ceremony took place Tuesday at the Executive Council Chambers, Governor’s Office, Calabar, with top government officials and stakeholders in attendance.


According to the institute, the honour aligns with provisions of the NIPR Act CAP N114, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.


Officials said the recognition reflects Governor Otu’s commitment to people-centred governance and value-driven leadership across critical sectors in Cross River State.


The Chairman of the NIPR Governing Council and National President, Dr. Ike Neliaku, performed the investiture during the formal ceremony.
