NULGE President-Elect Lauds Gov. Obaseki For Fostering Peaceful Election Environment

The newly elected President of the National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Comrade Daudu Clifford, has praised Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, for his role in ensuring a smooth and peaceful election process.

The election, a highlight of the 11th Quadrennial State Delegate Conference of NULGE, took place in Sabogindaa Ora, Owan West Local Government Area of Edo State.

During his acceptance speech, Comrade Clifford expressed his gratitude, referring to Governor Obaseki as “the best Governor in Nigeria” for creating an enabling environment that allowed for a hitch-free election.

He emphasized that the Governor’s support would not be taken for granted.

Clifford also extended his thanks to the National Leadership of NULGE, led by Comrade Akeem Olatunji Ambali, for their efforts in restoring peace within the Union and ensuring the election proceeded as scheduled.

The President-Elect further acknowledged the contributions of key figures like Comrade Anthony Kaduna Eboigbodin, who played a pivotal role in the electoral process.
