The David Mark-led faction of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has insisted on going ahead with its planned National Convention scheduled for 14th of April, despite INEC’s decision not to henceforth recognized its leadership and activities.
In an appearance on Arise TV on Thursday, Bolaji Abdullahi, the National Publicity Secretary of the ADC, stated their intention to proceed with their planned convention despite INEC’s suspension of the ADC leadership’s recognition until the court case concludes
“We will go ahead with our congresses. We have given INEC 21 days’ notice, they have accepted. Whether they come or not, we will continue with our congresses and our convention.”
