Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has played down his team’s Premier League title chances, citing a lack of experience among his players.
Maresca, despite a convincing 3-0 win over Aston Villa on Sunday, said Chelsea are still behind top contenders Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City.
Maresca’s comments came after Nicolas Jackson, Enzo Fernandez, and Cole Palmer scored to help Chelsea move level on 25 points with second-placed Arsenal.
However, the Chelsea boss remains cautious, stating that his young team needs to gain more experience in high-pressure matches to compete with the league’s top teams.
