Former France international Louis Saha believes Manchester United should replace struggling goalkeeper Andre Onana with Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martinez.
Speaking about his former club for n an interview with Coun Poker, the Frenchman said that the Argentina goalkeeper has been one of the best in the world in that position.
“Every top side needs a top class goalkeeper.
“Emi Martinez has been voted the best in the world for two years.
“Those are the players United need… They need great performers like United used to have,” Saha said.
He praised Martinez’s character, saying he gives a side confidence.
Saha’s comments come amid Onana’s struggles at Manchester United, with the Cameroon international linked to a potential exit from the club this summer.
