Saka Shines as Arsenal Breeze Past Fulham, Tightens Grip on Top Spot

Arsenal put in a dominant display at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday evening, cruising to a 3–0 victory over Fulham in a pivotal Premier League Matchday 35 fixture.

The result proved crucial in the title race, moving the Gunners six points clear of Manchester City with three matches remaining.

It was a first half to remember for the home side. Eberechi Eze found space and teed up Viktor Gyökeres, who held the ball up before laying it off to Bukayo Saka, who beat Bernd Leno at the near post to open the scoring.

Gyökeres then added a third goal right before the half-time whistle, leaping high to head a Trossard cross into the top corner , capping a scintillating opening 45 minutes. Saka, wearing the captain’s armband on the night, was at the heart of everything positive for Arsenal, combining brilliantly with the Swedish striker throughout.

Arsenal kept Fulham at bay in the second half to secure a clean sheet a result that carries added importance ahead of next week’s Champions League second leg against Atlético Madrid.

With 76 points from their 35 games played, Arteta’s side remain firmly in control of the title race , and on this form, they look every bit like champions-in-waiting.
