At some point, Edo South must ask itself difficult but necessary questions.
How long do we continue recycling the same old political actors whose careers have become monuments to endless ambition, endless defections, endless betrayals, and endless disappointments?
Politics is not a retirement home for perpetual candidates.
The Senate is not a rehabilitation centre for damaged political legacies.
Edo South today needs energy, intellect, modern legislative competence, broad acceptability, and a future-oriented political face capable of engaging a rapidly changing Nigeria. That face is clearly Engr. Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama.
While others are still trapped in old entitlement mentality, Ogbeide-Ihama represents generational transition, legislative experience, education, political civility, and the capacity to build bridges beyond bitterness and ancient grudges.
Some people have spent decades moving from party to party, platform to platform, leader to leader, only to leave behind trails of division, confusion, and political exhaustion. Edo South cannot continue mortgaging its future to recycled desperation packaged as experience.
Enough is enough.
This moment demands clarity, courage, and a clean break from politics of emotional blackmail.
Edo South deserves progress, not political nostalgia.
The future has a name: ENGR. OMOREGIE OGBEIDE-IHAMA.
