Nigerian music superstar Davido has been confirmed as one of the headline performers for the Los Angeles edition of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Countdown Concert series, scheduled for June 10, 2026, in the United States.

In a statement released on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, FIFA announced that Davido will share the stage with Diplo’s Major Lazer project, with more artistes expected to be unveiled ahead of the event.

The concert is part of FIFA’s first ever synchronized live music series spanning the three host nations of the 2026 World Cup: Canada, Mexico and the United States, as excitement builds toward the global football tournament.

According to FIFA, the Los Angeles show will be a vibrant celebration of music, football and culture.

“Los Angeles will play host to a high energy celebration, featuring Diplo’s Major Lazer and Davido, the first artists announced for what promises to be an unforgettable night of music, football and culture,” the governing body stated.

The event will take place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Doors are expected to open at 5:00 p.m. PT, while the live broadcast will begin at 6:00 p.m. PT.

FIFA noted that performances from Los Angeles will be connected with live shows in Mexico City and Toronto, creating a unique cross border entertainment experience.

Speaking on the initiative, FIFA World Cup 2026 Chief Tournament Officer for the United States, Manolo Zubiria, said the concert series reflects the unity and cultural diversity that define the World Cup.

He added that, just days before the tournament’s opening match in the United States, Los Angeles would deliver an unforgettable showcase featuring world class talent in one of the globe’s leading entertainment hubs.

Tickets for the concert went on sale on June 3, 2026, while fans worldwide will also be able to watch the event through FIFA’s digital platforms, including an exclusive livestream on the FIFA World Cup TikTok account.

FIFA further revealed that the full concert, along with behind the scenes footage, will be available the following day on its video on demand platform, VuMe Live.
