Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has expressed immense pride and joy as his daughter, Jazmyne, graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Upper Second-Class Honours) degree from the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom.
In a heartfelt statement, Wike said he and his wife were overjoyed to witness the milestone.
“I celebrate and rejoice with my daughter, Jazmyne, who yesterday earned a Bachelor of Laws (Upper Second-Class Honours) degree from the University of Southampton, United Kingdom,” Wike stated.
“I and my darling wife are so elated to have witnessed that moment of joy of parenthood. Jazmyne, thank you for making us proud.”
The governor also extended gratitude to dignitaries who attended the graduation ceremony despite their busy schedules.
He specifically thanked his friend and brother, His Excellency Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, who is also the Board of Trustees Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), as well as Senator Mao Ohuabunwa and others.
“You will always receive happiness from your children,” Wike added.
The graduation marks another notable academic achievement for the Wike family, with Jazmyne’s success drawing congratulations from political associates and well-wishers.
