The Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano State, has released the screening timetable for applicants seeking admission into its 13th Regular Course.
The screening exercise will begin on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, and end on Friday, September 18, 2026, according to a statement issued on Tuesday, August 25, by the academy’s Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Umar Isah, on behalf of the Commandant, AIG Auwal Muhammad.
The academy said applicants must print their examination slips between Tuesday, August 25 and Tuesday, September 8, 2026, ahead of the exercise.
The screening will comprise a Computer-Based Test, physical features assessment, medical screening and Selection Board interview.
The CBT will be conducted in batches based on candidates’ states of origin.
Candidates from Abia, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Anambra and Bauchi will participate in the first batch on September 9.
The second batch, scheduled for September 10, will comprise candidates from Bauchi Batch B, Bayelsa, Benue, Borno, Cross River and Delta states.
The third batch, scheduled for September 11, will cover Ebonyi, Edo, Ekiti, Enugu, the Federal Capital Territory, Gombe and Imo states.
Candidates from Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano and Katsina will take the CBT on September 12, while those from Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Lagos and Nasarawa will sit for the examination on September 13.
The sixth batch, scheduled for September 14, comprises candidates from Niger, Ogun, Ondo and Osun states.
Candidates from Oyo, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto and Taraba will take the CBT on September 15, while those from Yobe and Zamfara are scheduled for September 16.
The academy said candidates must appear with the original and photocopies of their Primary School Leaving Certificate, SSCE result, JAMB result slip, birth certificate or declaration of age, Local Government Area indigene certificate, letter of identification, completed and signed guarantor’s form, medical certificate of fitness from a government hospital, NIN slip, four passport photographs and application acknowledgement slip.
Candidates are also required to wear a white T-shirt, white shorts, white socks and white canvas shoes throughout the exercise.
The academy advised applicants to arrive one day before their scheduled examination date, adding that accommodation would be provided within the academy throughout the screening period.
It warned that parents would not be allowed into the academy during the exercise.
The institution urged candidates to obtain further information through the POLAC Admission Portal and warned applicants against fake social media accounts impersonating the Nigeria Police Academy.
