CALABAR: In the last day of 2024, the Calabar Municipal Government, Cross River State Nigeria has constituted a 32-man Revenue Mobilization Committee that oversees the revenues accruing to the LGA account.
The council’s Chief Press Secretary Oqua Etim, in a statement made available to newsmen said that top in the list of appointed members is Ntufam Divine Edim, as Chairman and Capt. Ita Otu Ita, alternate chairman.
Dated December 31, 2024, Etim said that the chairman of Calabar Municipal Council Apostle James O. Anam, has approved the appointment.
Also, Apostle Anam, appointed Hon. Emmanuel Archibong, as Revenue officer and Eyo Ephraim, as Director of finance (secretary).
According to him, the chairman expected that the appointment would take immediate effect.
Calabar Municipal Government is located in the southern Senatorial District of Cross River State, in Nigeria South South geopolitical region.
