Shooting Stars defeated Niger Tornadoes 3-1 to end their six-game winless streak in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
The Oluyole Warriors secured the win with goals from Ayodeji Bamidele, Anthony Okachi, and Samuel Okon.
Bamidele opened the scoring seven minutes before halftime, while Okachi doubled the lead with a penalty on the stroke of half-time.
Sunday Williams scored for Niger Tornadoes in the 66th minute, but Okon restored Shooting Stars’ two-goal lead in the 77th minute.
The victory moved Shooting Stars up to fourth position in the table, while Niger Tornadoes remain in 10th place.
