Afrobeat singer Kizz Daniel revealed the kind of relationship he had with his late father, describing him as his “best friend.”
Kizz Daniel’s new song, “Al-Jannah,” which means “paradise,” was inspired by the death of his father in 2015 and other loved ones, including his son who passed away in 2021.
The singer stated, “I wanted to write a tribute song. We’ve lost people in the past… I wanted to make a song for everyone, not just one person.”
Kizz Daniel said he accomplished this by using the word “friend” in the song, which resonates with the loss of loved ones in life’s journey.
Truth Live News recalls that Kizz Daniel lost his father on May 9, 2015, just a few days after his 21st birthday, and has since found solace in music to express his emotions and pay tribute to his loved ones.
