Mascherano Explains 4-0 Loss to PSG in Club World Cup

Inter Miami manager Javier Mascherano has attributed his team’s 4-0 loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the FIFA Club World Cup Round of 16 tie to the significant difference between the two teams.

Truth Live News reports that PSG dominated the match, with Joao Neves scoring a brace and Achraf Hakimi and Tomas Aviles (own goal) adding to the scoreline.

Mascherano acknowledged that Inter Miami faced the best team in the world, with an incredible manager in Luis Enrique.

“You could see the difference between both teams,” Mascherano said, adding that “It’s very big, but we tried to work hard and compete.”

He expressed pride in his players, saying, “I’m proud of my players. If anything, we competed well.”
