Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak has finalised a transfer agreement with Liverpool until 2031, according to Sky Sports’ Florian Plettenberg.
Isak’s agreement with the Reds is “100 per cent done” after he rejected an offer to join Manchester United.
Isak Alfred said he only wants to join the Premier League champions.
The player’s camp remains optimistic that an agreement can be reached between Liverpool and Newcastle in this transfer window, following the Magpies’ rejection of a £120 million bid.
Newcastle values Isak at £150 million and is desperate to hold on to him beyond this summer.
Isak is currently training alone at his former club Real Sociedad’s facilities in Spain and has stayed away from Newcastle’s pre-season tour of Asia to force a move to Liverpool.
